Hazrat Shaikhul Huffaz Ahmed Saheb Alaihim ar-raHmah wa ar-Ridwan undertook journey on foot to perform Hajj e BaitUllah in the mid 19th century. The entire journey took about 12 months to complete. Such was his fervor and steadfastness when it came to religious matters.
