Schneider was a member of FC Bayern München where he did not participate in the match between 1914 and 1918. His debut in the first team was given by the aspiring engineer on 15 October 1910 - after exactly two months of belonging to the first team. He had his first success with the '' Bayern '' at the end of the season 1919/20 with the Win the Bavarian Championship. Three years later, he won the South German Cup with the team.
