Vladimir Bogdanovic (Originally: Владимир Богдановић or Vladimir Bogdanović) (04. 06. 1940) is a Serbian painter and writer.

== PAINTER ==
VLADIMIR BOGDANOVIĆ was born in 1940, in Belgrade. He finished Secondary school of applied arts in 1961, in Zagreb and graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in 1967, in Belgrade with Professor Radeta Stanković and Assistant professor Bogoljub Teofanović. He paints, draws, illustrates and designs books and he is also a conserver and restorer. For many years he was employed in the Gallery of Matica srpska in Novi Sad as a conservator-restorer, and then as a consultant, and finally as a Head of the Conservation and Restoration Department. Independently and collectively he exhibited in the country and abroad. He has won over twenty awards and was a part of many significant art events in the country and abroad. He also is active in a field of graphic design, illustration and of books design and magazines ... His works can be found in numerous galleries, museums and private collections at home and abroad. He is a member of SULUV – Alliance Association of Fine Artists of Vojvodina, UPIDIV – Association of Applied Arts. In the period from 1969 to 2017, he participated in more than 120 domestic and foreign art colonies.

The works of Vladimir Bogdanović are part of numerous private collections at home and abroad (Amsterdam, Stockholm, Rome, Venice, Milan, Piacenza, Paris, New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Montreal, Moscow, Addis Ababa, Harare, Warsaw, Krakow, Vrotslav, Raciborz, Podgorica, Herceg Novi, Skopje, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Pula, Sarajevo, Banja Luka). He writes poetry, prose, literary and art criticism, essays, studies at the field of protection of cultural heritage (painting).
First steps was the publishing of his poems in 1958, in several Zagreb magazines and newspapers. He published books: Kola, stories, 1967; Bird at the old clock, poems and graphics, 1969; Like the stars - like ashes, poems, 1970; Like a home, stories, 1971; Monograph, poems, drawings and graffits, 1972; Distant House, stories, 1973; Uncles Berislav piano, stories, 1976; The Great Draftsman, poems, 1984: In a Clepsidra, autobiography in monography, 1997; The Great Draftsman, selected poems, 2000; So Much Space Suddenly, novel, 2000; Lifetime Hill, selected stories, 2002; Gothic Melancholy, selected texts about prose and poetry by Vladimir Bogdanović, 2007; Field of Clear Image, selected texts on artistic creativity by Vladimir Bogdanović, 2008; Reader in a Shadow, notes about books, 2015. He was awarded many times for his writing work. He was editor of literary editions, magazines, and newspapers. He wrote for radio and television shows. He is a member of Writers Association of Vojvodina.
