スマホにAIが降臨、進化に弾み VRは「独り立ち」へクラウドを用いたAIは膨大なコンピューターパワーを生かせる一方、ネットワークを経由するため一定のタイムラグが発生するし、セキュリティー面での不安もぬぐい切れないことから活用範囲に限界があった。そうした問題を解消し、AI技術の活用をより広げる上でも、端末側で高速にAI処理をこなすチップセットに期待するのだ。
