Yandi Nigeria was founded by a group of young Entrepreneurs on November 25th 2016 by an original group of four namely Michael Obinna Ikoku, her key investor and Chairman alongside Scott C. Eneje, Justice I. == History ==
Yandi Nigeria started as an initiative to develop marketplace transactions for small time traders and buyers who would want to be located easily and have their products or services easily reached or acquired with ease and at a reliable and secure source. While some of it founders namely Justice and Scott Eneje were hoping to start off a websites for the sales of just electronics, Michael Ikoku had a vision to make it bigger by providing a marketplace instead for everyone.
In time, the started working on their first site which was developed by Eddy Udom and launched on the 25th of November 2016, before a remodeling was done and they launched their new native based website in August 2017
In February 2018, the company was named the start up of the week by startupng.com<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref> when they showed off their Artificial Intelligence CLAIR as the first e commerce system to use an AI for negotiations and sales
The company rebranded its image from being just an e commerce website company to a digital solutions company in December 2017 and signed a face to their new image in person of Bakare Mubarak<ref></ref> who was the tallest model in sub Sahara Africa<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2) Nigeria's Most Visited Music & Entertainment Website|access-date=2018-05-26|language=en-US}}</ref>
