It was first recorded in 1946 by Belisario López's orchestra for [[RCA Victor]].<ref name="Diaz1">Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref> The Maravillas recorded it in their eponymous 1980 reunion album, released by [[Areito (record label)|Areito]].
