Derek McAllister Jr. (November 6, 1994 - March 4, 2014) better known by his stage name Speaker Knockerz, was an American [[Hip hop|Hip Hop]] [[Hip hop production|producer]] and rapper who released 4 albums,<ref></ref> and also produced songs for [[Gucci Mane]], [[Meek Mill]], [[French Montana]], and [[2 Chainz]] among others, and also starting his own label 'Talibandz Entertainment',<ref></ref><ref></ref> before dying of a drug induced heart attack in his home in [[Columbia, South Carolina]].<ref></ref>

McAllister Jr. was born in November 6, 1994 in [[New York City]] to former musician Derek McAllister, Sr. and Mesha Wilson.<ref></ref>He grew up in [[New York City|New York]] where he was encouraged by his family to pursue a musical career. After McAllister's father was [[Imprisonment|imprisoned]] for ten years, him and his family moved to [[South Carolina]] due to Williams' fear of their children becoming criminals.<ref></ref>Once in [[South Carolina]] McAllister he became interested in hip hop and began to make make music on his computer. His Father once out of jail, helped him release his debut mixtape '<nowiki/>''Flight Delayed''' in 2010.
