St. John Church of God in Christ is a pentecostal church located between the Farms, St. John[[St. John, Florida]] and Quincy Woodard communities in Quincy Florida. The Church's slogan is:" the church that's a little out of the way, but where the Holy Ghost makes up the difference." St. John Church has been a staple in the community for over 60+ years.<ref>http://bit.ly/2X2T37R> They are a part of the Florida Western Jurisdiction and Big Bend district of churches.<ref>http://bit.ly/2WUXlsN> Their current pastor is Dr. Ronald L. McCloud. He is also current superintendent of the Big Bend Jurisdiction. Their former pastor was the late Bishop E.L. Shepard. The church contributes to the community through farmshare and other feeding programs and through hosting funerals and other church related events. The church is connected to the COGIC pentacostal organization which dates back to the early 1900's under Bishop Mason. St. John has a youtube page here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_A0PLdAuI9g. St. John was started by members of the St. John community in 1961 under the Elder E.L. The church has gained notariety because it has previously been recognized by the City of Quincy because of its contributions to the community. Quincy has dedicated a day in honor of the church.
