===Formation===

== Who is eligible ==
Any national level organisation which runs 5, 6, 7 or 8-a-side football leagues is eligible to register to join ISF and gain the license to run their national team. Once registered and approved, the licensee becomes the exclusive operator of their country's national team and the only organisation eligible to represent their country in ISF world or continental Championships.
== World Cup ==
The inaugural ISF 6-a-side World Cup will take place in one of Portugal's most beautiful seaside towns in October 2018.
A spectacular purpose-built stadium will be erected on the beach, close to all the city's tourist amenities, providing an idyllic backdrop to the world class football taking place.
The week long tournament will feature the best national 6-a-side teams from across the globe, and is being supported by a number of local businesses as well as receiving substantial support from the local government. The International Socca Federation are also investing heavily in the event, contributing 6 figure sums to help ensure the highest level of event production.<ref>http://ift.tt/2BQ3q3N>
== European Tournaments ==
The first ISF 6-a-side European Championships are expected to take place in Greece in spring 2019 (dates to be finalised), as the country has been announced as the favourite to win the bid to host the competition.
The tournament will feature 32 teams from across Europe battling to be crowned European champions in front of thousands of spectators. All games will take place within a specially constructed temporary stadium being built on Crete's spectacular coastline. The location promises an incredible experience for all competitors and spectators, as the host city is renowned for hosting international sports events.
Expressions of interest and entrants are now being accepted, and all of the latest competition news will be updated, as it is announced, on this tournament page.
