'''Kadhim al-Sayadi''' is an [[Iraqi]] politician and [[Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas Forces]] militia leader. He is a Member of Parliament for [[Kut]] in [[Wasit Governorate]]. He is part of the [[State of Law Coalition]] and a supporter of [[Nouri al-Maliki]].

In 2011, he left the [[Muqtada al-Sadr]]-aligned [[Al-Ahrar Bloc]]. [[Muqtada al-Sadr]] called him "crazy" and said he would not forgive the act. On 19 September 2012 he joined the Maliki-led [[State of Law Coalition]]. He said "I decided to leave the Ahrar Bloc within the Sadr Trend, which I used to belong to, because the bloc lacks clarity and due to absence of a roadmap for the bloc."<ref>https://ift.tt/2r5IfUg>

In a parliament session on 1 July 2014, al-Sayadi threatened to "crush the heads" of Iraq's Kurds in response to a call by Kurdish MP Najiba Najib for the federal government to "end the blockade" and to stop withholding federal budget payments to the autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government.<ref>https://ift.tt/2HAO0jg>

In 2015, al-Sayadi was attacked in parliament by 19 members of the [[Al-Ahrar Bloc]]. He was punched in the face drawing blood.<ref>https://ift.tt/2r49izg>

On 24 November 2015, al-Sayadi got into a dispute with [[Al-Muwatin]] spokesman Baligh Abu Gallal at the al-Dijla TV station. Sayadi drew a pistol and began shooting at Abu Gallal, who was quickly taken inside by security guards.<ref>https://ift.tt/2vPTogK

In an interview on January 2 2017, he rejected the US-Iraq [[Strategic Framework Agreement]]. Speaking on Mayadeen TV, he said "In my opinion, Iraq should begin to take measures in order to cancel the infamous American 'Strategic Framework Agreement,' and try to achieve a true strategic framework agreement with the countries that are fighting terrorism - an agreement that will be truly sponsored by Russia, Iraq and Iran."<ref>https://ift.tt/2r49jDk>
