On the day of July 19th, 2018, in Clearwater, Florida, United States, Michael Drejka fatally shot Markeis McGlockton, a 28 year old African American father of three children. Drejka, a 47 year old White man, was not charged for the killing because the Pinellas County Sheriff cites the [[Stand-your-ground law]] in Floria.
