John Wyndal "J. Wyndal" Gordon (July 4, 1969) is an attorney in [[Baltimore]], Maryland with a private legal practice.

J. WYNDAL GORDON was born July 4, 1969 in [[Washington, D.C.]] and raised in [[Southern Maryland]]. Mr. Gordon attended [[Friendly High School]] in Fort Washington, Maryland and graduated from [[H.D. Woodson High School]] in Washington, D.C.  In 1991, J. Wyndal Gordon completed his bachelors degree from [[Morgan State University]], and in 1995, he earned his law degree from the [[University of Baltimore School of Law]]. He was licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland that same year.  Mr. Gordon is also licensed to practice law in [[United States District Court for the District of Maryland]], the [[United States District Court for the District of Columbia]], the [[United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit|United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Richmond, Virginia]], and the [[United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit]].  Mr. Gordon is a member of [[Kappa Alpha Psi|Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity]].

J. Wyndal Gordon is a respected [[Lawyer|trial attorney]] and solo practitioner who represents individuals and businesses in [[Lawsuit|litigation]] matters.  He has dedicated his life to practicing law.  His dedication and love for the law was inspired by the late [[Johnnie Cochran]] and Baltimore's own, the late Honorable [[Thurgood Marshall]]. Mr. Gordon goal is life is to ensure citizen's [[rights]] are protected, challenge the "wrongs" of society and make a lasting impact through changing state [[legislation]].

Mr. Gordon has litigated numerous cases, from small to high profile cases.  In April 2006, Mr. Gordon accepted an appointment as lead stand-by counsel for the "D.C. Sniper", [[John Allen Muhammad|John Allen Muhammad,]] in the case of ''Maryland v. John Allen Muhammad'' also known as the D.C. Sniper Attacks.<ref></ref>

In February 2018, Mr. Gordon's represented the [[Shooting of Korryn Gaines|Korryn Gaines]]' family.  The case yielded a $37 million dollar verdict resulting from her [[Wrongful death claim|wrongful death]] by [[Baltimore County Police Department]].<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (2 for 1)</ref> The jury found that the first shot, fired by a Baltimore County Police Officer and killing Gaines, was not reasonable, and thus violated Korryn Gaines and her family's [[Civil and political rights|civil rights]]<ref>Liquid error: wrong number of arguments (1 for 2)</ref>. Mr. Gordon is planning a speaking tour to take KorrynGaines' case to the public to create an awareness about the need for de-escalation by police, mental health training and constitutional policing in the 21st Century.
